The Social Club Committee are pleased to offer a variety of entertainment for 2008. the Club has recently been refurbished and we want to become a regular venue for entertainment, for our Members and their guests.

We now have Sky TV installed so come along and enjoy all the big games on three separate large screen TVs.

We have a good old fashioned Barn Dance scheduled on Friday 12th September which will be as authentic as we can make it, including bales of hay, hot dogs, burgers etc and prizes for the best dressed. We will have our own MC taking us through the various dance routines and a disco in between. Brace yourself, get ready to go - spin your partner to and fro (hope you're feeling fit)!

Amazing Insight On First Visit

Following her successful first event in Lowestoft earlier this year, Lowestoft Town Football Social Club are pleased to announce the return of Clairvoyant Stephanie Carr to the Club on Thursday 18th September 2008. Food can be ordered on arrival and will be served during the interval.

Friday 10th October we welcomeTthe Yare Beats to the Club. They have been entertaining for many years and specialize in music from the 60s. They have an excellent following and we hope you will join us in what promises to be a great evening.

Dig Out Those Outfits

Saturday 22nd November we are holding a retro disco, covering music from the 70s and 80s. Please dress for the period if you choose - there will be a prize for best dressed. There will also be a dance-off, John Travolta style, so if you think you have what it takes, start practising.

England International Darts Player Welcomed To Club

Kevin Painter will join us on Sunday 7th December, starting at 3pm. We should have lots of time to watch him doing what he does best and 14 local players can also challenge him to a game. We will contact local clubs and pubs to put forward names of players and if you would like your name added, please contact us. We will also run a raffle on the day where two further people will win the chance to play Kevin.

New Years Eve will be the culmination of all we have strived to achieve in 2008, with a fantastic party, based on the James Bond Theme, to give us all the excuse to really dress up. There will be a superb buffet, disco, party favours, big screen TV to see in the New Year with Big Ben, champagne at midnight and the best raffle we have ever done. The first prize, kindly donated by Hoseasons, is the choice of one of their lodges, anywhere in England for a short break, Monday to Friday, or Friday to Monday, except Bank Holidays and subject to availability.
