Chairman's message

The Committee of Lowestoft Town Football Club would like it to be known that as a result of the resignation of Geoff Price, from the position of Club Chairman, we are now actively seeking a replacement Chairman. We are very sad to see Geoff go but respect his decision and would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his tremendous dedication and professionalism throughout his time with us. As regards statements Geoff has made to the media on this matter, the Club is unable to comment on them as there are personal issues involved.

Managers Micky Chapman and Ady Gallagher are doing a sterling job preparing for the forth coming season with the resources available. Team training started on Tuesday and on the back of securing our excellent new first team kit sponsors Jenny Gillett is actively pursuing some very exciting new sponsorship deals. 'WATCH THIS SPACE!’

Just a few weeks ago this Football Club took nearly all of our great Town to Wembley where they had the most amazing day and the team made everyone really proud. We have a dedicated, passionate Committee who work tirelessly behind the scenes and will continue to do so. We brought Jenny Gillett in because of her experience gained with Norwich City FC, we have re-purchased the Social Club and employed Terry Henderson, an ambitious new manager to run it. We are also actively involved with and planning other very exciting new ventures.

We call upon all of the Local businesses and our supporters to invest in the Club via various sponsorship & advertising opportunities. Please do not be put off by current events. The Club needs your valuable support. If anyone would like to meet with Jenny to discuss our plans and ambitions for the future then please feel free to contact her. There are various ways which you can become involved. We very much appreciate our fans and their dedication and we do need their valuable support more than ever next season. However it must also be stated that we will not allow certain outside influences or individuals to further harm the Club or bring it into disrepute.

Yours in sport on behalf of the LTFC committee,
Joe Annis Acting Chairman.
